hello,

i am considering purchasing a hovercraft.

1. how loud are they? (please compare to boat, car...)

2. i am hoping to use the hovercraft to traverse a small dune then go out over some mud flats out to a larger boat. does this seem feasible in the hovercraft.

Noise level: Hovercraft sound like an industrial vacuum cleaner. They are quieter than an air boat but louder than a similar sized boat or jet ski. Hearing protection is not necessary, except on long trips its more relaxing and comfortable to have a communication system.
