The attached photo shows a Hovertrek operating in the sea in Northern Florida. Special preparations are made to protect metals and electrical circuits. Part # 3720 total salt water marinizaiton involves sealing all instruments, hardwiring all circuits and protecting coils and mounts with epoxy coatings. Where possible stainless steel bolts are used.
