What is Differencial Thrust" as it pertains to Hover Craft? I'm just interested. Could you give me a quick explanation?
Thanks

Two thrusts, which can be individually changed from positive or negative, and which are generated at a distance from the Hovercraft's center of gravity, so that they cause a torque on the craft, can be regarded as differential thrust. Examples are: Two separate propellers where one can be speeded up or reversed compared to the other produce differential thrust. Two reverse thrust buckets do the same thing. Thrust ports that swivel around can likewise produce differential thrust. Two swiveling rocket motors are yet another example. In the case of an automobile's differential this just favors one wheel over another where drive force and speed can be adjusted from one wheel to the other.
