I was wandering if there was a way to get inexpensive plans for a hovercraft because im on a very strict $500 budget. If any1 can help me that would be great...

Also i had a thought on a drive shaft..
since im on a strict budget i was gonna use 1 motor to drive it all. how can i do this? gear box? is there a certain place to put the engine?
i was thinking like this for the drive shaft
taking the engine in the front and then putting a gear box rite below the engine(engine is a verticle shaft) then from the gear box goes 2 drive shafts 1 down to the lift and 1 to the back of the hovercraft to the thrust. is there such a gear box? if so how can i make it?

please help me out

The best place to start would be with "Light Hovercraft Desing" (part # 0004). This sells for $29 plus shipping. It will help you to design the craft of your dreams!!
