I have a wiring problem. I found the bilge pump on. All switches where off. After checking under dash moved the fuse wire to the pump switch and pump stopped.?? Moved it again and it starts.?? Must be wires crossing over back up the line.??? A hard one to see in all wires. Have anyone else had this happen.???

Could be a defective bilge switch. Check the switch with a resistance meter. Where was the fuse wire connected, was it to a positive terminal? Another possibility could be a short in the harness, but moving the fuse would not influence a shorted harness. To help we need more information. Our fist guess is a corroded on/off bulge pump switch, or it's upside down.
